Match Cut - Practice
This project was a study in match cutting, inspired by the film Swarm by the McGloughlin Brothers.
My teammate and I explored downtown Savannah looking for objects we could photograph and cut together in a way that implied progression. We focused on matching form while changing context. Everything was shot on a Canon 60D with a 24–70mm f/2.8 lens, and we paid close attention to framing and subtle variation.
It was a fun exercise in visual rhythm and spatial awareness, and it helped me think more intentionally about transitions in both editing and motion work.
